The Palmer-Tansley Woods Community

The desirable community of Palmer-Tansley offers two neighbourhoods in one with Palmer providing a mature area consisting of 25 year old detached homes and Tansley offering a newer neighbourhood with homes built five to 10 years ago.

The Orchard Community

The Orchard is one of Burlington’s newest communities. It is nestled on the border of Burlington and Oakville in the northeast corner of the city. Bordered by Bronte Creek Provincial Park the neighborhood offers a number of sprawling parks and nature trails. The area spans from Dundas Street to Upper Middle Road in the north and south and Appleby Line to Orchard Road from east to west.

The Millcoft Community
This community is built around the Millcroft Golf Course in the mid 1980′s, the 650-acre Millcroft community is one of Burlington’s most prestigious and desirable neighbourhoods. It is situated in north Burlington, Millcroft spans from Dundas Road and Upper Middle Road on the North and South sides and Walkers Line and Appleby Line on the west and east.
 
This is a mature location with newer surveys that have been added in stages, Millcroft offers fast access to the 407 highway and is conveniently located near established amenities. The community features wide well-landscaped streets with views of lush fairways.
 
The Old Mill Building, featuring a working mill, welcomes visitors and residents alike while antique-styled street lights add a touch of charm. The Millcroft community features a range of three and four bedroom detached homes on well sized lots. Condominium town homes and bungalows are also available.

The Tyandaga Community

This community is filled with sprawling fairways, vast green spaces and tree-lined streets, the mature neighbourhood of Tyandaga combines a convenient commuter location with the beauty of nature. Situated in the northwest corner of Burlington next to Kerncliff Park, Tyandaga spans from Dundas Street in the north to the QEW in the south and Brant Street in the east to Kerns/King Road in the west. The community runs up the escarpment providing residents with views of both the city and Lake Ontario.
 
Building in this area started in the early 1970′s and continued well into the 90′s. Tyandaga features mainly detached homes on large treed lots with a number surrounding the Tyandaga Municiple Golf Course.

The Alton Village Community

This is Burlington’s newest residential community, also referred to on occasion as Alton Village Cornerstone. It is located in the North East Corner of the city. The homes lie within the street parameters of Walker’s Line East, North of Dundas Street (Highway #5), to Appleby Line and North to the 407 ETR Toll Highway.

The residential real estate development started in this area in 2006. Most of the residential home styles in Alton Village are two storeys, comprised of detached homes, semi-detached and freehold town homes; along with upscale low-rise condominium apartment buildings at the corner of Dundas Street and Rotary Way. Along Walker’s line there are residential homes known as “work-and-live” units that serve the Alton Village Cornerstone community.

Mountainside is an established neighbourhood, it is located in the northwest quadrant of Burlington, Ontario. Spanning from Highway 407 ETR in the north to the QEW in the south and Guelph Line in the east to Brant Street in the west.
